It has been a busy beginning of term, working with different networks to create a space where we can collaborate and share narratives to support action towards transformations in sustainability education. International as well as national networks have recognized the opportunities in co-creating and co-inspiring efforts to reimagine sustainability education and the pursuit for regenerative futures. This term we are able to invite students and heartholders from all communities to engage in the seeds and life-long projects that are taking place across the world.
It was a great pleasure to be a part of a kick-off event where the Impact Network For Regenerative Futures (IN4RF) welcomed the students participating in the project. Last spring, the IN4RF won a grant that helps support students to be able to contribute to activities that are taking place on an international scale. The IN4RF consists of members from universities across the world, from west to east and north to south, that are committed to inspiring, planning, and taking action towards regenerative futures through transformations in education. I was welcomed onto the project with the aim to help collaborate efforts across networks and to co-create actionable plans for transformations in sustainability education on every scale.

There was lots of positive support and engagement among students and teachers that helped to ignite a great energy and inspiration about the project. An open dialogue provided space for students to voice their visions about activities to work towards regenerative fututres. This collaborative effort has fostered a sense of community, as we explore how we can work together effectively and where we aim to move forward in the near future. In this spirit of collaboration, we are eager to hear all community voices, including teachers, students, and heartholders, and the creative ideas that will undoubtedly emerge in our upcoming events and activities.

We encourage anyone with an interest in this project to reach out and join us; your participation could bring valuable insights and perspectives. There are many different networks that have similar objectives and desire further support in their efforts to transform sustainability education. Several have shown an interest in how to help share the information already learned, since some are just beginning this journey, some are ready to take the next steps, and others want to delve deeper into the challenges faced in sustainability challenges.
If you would like to read more about the IN4RF project go to the webpages here. You can find out about the amazing work every member is involved with and make connections with the many networks presented. Several of these networks have also voiced a desire to join this international effort and I will update you on these projects very soon. The pages will be developing as each member connects to the project and takes action, co-creating inspiring events and activities.
Together, networks can collaborate to provide learning spaces for all participants and help support each other on an international and local scale. If you would like to join any of the networks or have a network of your own that could benefit from collaborating with this initiative, get in contact. We are open to new ideas and see the space as an evolving process towards transforming sustainability education. What do you need to support your work or learning experience in sustainability education? How can we adapt the space to suit your needs? Let us know, we look forward to hearing from you.
