On Monday, we received great news that our literature review article has been accepted at the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education. We will post a link to the article as soon as it is made available. The journal has many interesting and inspiring articles to read about the work being done across the world to advance sustainability in higher education. We are grateful to be among these fantastic action researchers.
We have also been happy to meet so many new faces this week with several more lecturers at Örebro University. It was lovely to see so many people who are working with advancing their sustainability education across campus. We had some interesting discussions about how best to present this tool and help the students to understand the benefits that they can reap from participating in this project. A formative questionnaire tool can provide insight for the teachers of those who participate, so that he students’ future teachers can better prepare their teaching for sustainability. Sign up for the questionnaire here. The work that the teachers put into designing more informed education for sustainability will benefit the students that answer the questionnaire. Thus, the more we share our experiences the more the project will benefit all teachers and students. Share your expereinces here.
Together with Örebro university, we plan to meet and present our project to more teachers that want to work to advance their education for sustainability. We also plan to conduct a workshop for the teachers at Örebro university. We have therefore set up a new page to provide a place for others to take part in what we have to offer. We can offer presentations and workshops to all teachers of education for sustainability. Teachers can already share their experiences of teaching activities, events and more on our forum page even if you have not participated in the questionnaire.
It also makes us feel so happy to see the interest rolling in. We look forward to meeting more teachers from Gotenburg university next week. Some of our very interesting meetings and discussion at conferences and presentations have also led to new contacts with lecturers at Uppsala university and Stockholm university, which we will be meeting with very soon too. Thank you everyone, for lighting up these dark autumn days.
