Hi everyone!
It is fantastic to be part of this project. I’m a Chilean community-based scholar from Chiloé archipelago, Chilean Patagonia. I’m currently conducting a doctoral research project at Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, in the fields of education, relational learning, youth studies and just transitions.
My core values are rooted in more than twenty years of co-inhabiting an environmental sacrifice zone and working with marginalized communities. These principles guide and underpin my pedagogical and research practice that stands against any form of oppression and extractivism.
I firmly believe that decolonization is not a metaphor and that it will not be born from academy, so I envision through this project the formation of an intergenerational, (human & more than human) community of practice and reflection that overflows the limits imposed by Universities.
